How to do it
Sit on a bench with one foot planted and its knee bent. Place a dumbbell on that thigh just above the knee and steady it with your hand. Raise and lower the working heel without moving the knee, then switch legs.
Form cues
- Keep the working knee bent.
- Keep the ball of the foot down.
- Move through a controlled range.
