How to do it
Sit in the shrug machine and grasp the handles with your arms nearly straight. Raise your shoulders toward your ears without bending your elbows or jutting your head forward. Pause briefly, then lower your shoulders under control.
Form cues
- Lift with your shoulders, not your arms.
- Keep your head neutral.
- Lower slowly.
