How to do it

Place your feet on a stable box and run a band across your upper back, securing its ends beneath your palms. Hold a rigid plank, lower your chest between your hands with your elbows angled slightly back, then press to full arm extension.

Form cues

  • Keep the band below your shoulder blades.
  • Brace from shoulders to heels.
  • Lower your chest between your hands.
  • Press without flaring your elbows.
