How to do it

Stand beside a stable support. Keeping your torso upright and your toes facing forward, move one straight leg out to the side without tilting your pelvis, then return slowly.

Form cues

  • Stand tall.
  • Keep your toes facing forward.
  • Do not lean away from the moving leg.
