How to do it

Lie on one side with the elbow under the shoulder, then lift the hips so the body forms a straight line. Stack the hips and shoulders and push the floor away with the supporting arm. Do not let the top hip rotate forward or the bottom hip sink — hold only for as long as the line stays honest.

Form cues

  • Stack the hips and shoulders
  • Push the floor away
