How to do it

Start in a push-up position with the hands under the shoulders and the body in a straight line. Drive the knees toward the chest one at a time at a steady pace, keeping the hips low and level. Do not let the shoulders drift back behind the hands or the hips pop up — the core holds the plank while the legs move.

Form cues

  • Hips stay low and level
  • Do not let the shoulders drift back
