How to do it
Kick up into a handstand with the back or chest toward a wall and the hands a palm's length from it. Brace the whole body, then bend the elbows to lower the top of the head to a controlled touch on the floor — a folded mat or cushion under the head is sensible — and press back to straight arms. Only train this after feet-elevated pike push-ups are strong, and come down the moment control fades.
Form cues
- Ribs in, glutes tight — no banana back against the wall
- Lower to a controlled touch, never drop onto the head
