How to do it

Secure a band to a stable anchor above shoulder height and stand facing away from it with an end in each hand. Step forward into a staggered stance. With elbows slightly bent, sweep your hands forward and down to meet below chest height. Slowly reverse the arc without overstretching your shoulders.

Form cues

  • Keep a slight bend in your elbows.
  • Bring your hands together below chest height.
  • Return without letting your arms drift far behind you.
