How to do it

Press a manageable barbell overhead with your hands evenly spaced and elbows straight. Brace and walk with short steps, keeping the bar above your midfoot rather than leaning back. Stop and lower the bar under control if you lose your overhead position.

Form cues

  • Keep the bar over your midfoot.
  • Keep your ribs from flaring.
