How to do it

Check the band for damage, place it across your upper back, and pin its ends securely beneath your palms. Set up in a standard push-up position with hands slightly wider than shoulder width. Lower your chest toward the floor with elbows angled back, then push up while keeping your trunk steady and the band in place.

Form cues

  • Keep the band across your upper back.
  • Hold a straight plank.
  • Press the floor away.
